Tighten the bolt to 110 Nm (81 lb-ft) until it reaches another 90 degrees at the bushing fastener tightening position. Begin by removing the joint between the lower arm and damper fork using the provided flagnut and damper which you should then discard. Install newly provided hardware and fasten it at 103 Nm (76 lb-ft) while the suspension remains at the bushing fastener tightening position. Replace the discarded front lower ball joint nut with a new one before tightening it to 200 Nm (148 lb-ft). Before removing the lower ball joint from the wheel knuckle, position wood or an equivalent object between the outer CV joint and lower arm to protect the joint boot. When using the ball joint separator with adapter the wheel knuckle needs additional tapping at the ball joint area if separation does not occur naturally. Take off the front lower ball joint from the wheel knuckle after separating it from the front lower arm. A suitable jack should raise the suspension to the bushing fastener tightening position until the hub center and fender lip measurements reach 402 mm (15.83 in) because this prevents incorrect clamp load and bushing damage.
