How to service the air suspension control module on Ford Expedition?

Removing the battery ground cable must be your first step when servicing the air suspension control module to avoid electrical charge damage. The module rests above the parking brake control and finds its position on the dash bottom left side. Begin by removing the dash padding and following steps for electrical connector detachment to reach the mounting nuts for the module. Position the air suspension control module above the parking brake control on the lower left dash area and remove its mounting nuts. Additional drive symptoms should be noted because the car needs time to adjust its adaptive control strategy before the symptoms end. Drive at least 16 km (10 miles) to complete this adjustment process. Before installation of a new or exchanged air suspension control module requires both ride height adjustment calibration and pneumatic testing and clearance of C1990 and C1991 DTCs. Repetition of the removal steps will finalize the installation process.
