How to service and repair the torsion bar on Ford Expedition?

When servicing the torsion bar, switch off the power of air suspension, elevate the car and indicate reference points. Unscrew the adjuster bolt and then apply Torsion Bar Tool to relieve the tension. Installation Only the torsion bar needs to be removed, and subsequently reinstalled with reference marks and ride height adjusted.

How to service and repair the torsion bar on Ford Ranger?

To service torsion bar, the vehicle in neutral must be in a hoist. Take off the cover plate, measure the length of the adjustment bolt and relax it with a torsion bar remover/installer. Install the torsion bar and tighten everything to required torque, replace the adjustment bolt (where removed) and tighten.
