How to service and repair the Vehicle Speed Sensor on the Output Shaft on Ford Taurus?

In order to fix the Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor, unplug the battery and OSS connector, take off the drive belt, and prop the vehicle. Disassemble the right front wheel and fender shield, and then the cover on the torque converter. Bolt away the crankshaft pulley, generator, and OSS sensor cover. Lastly, undo the steps to install.
