What Precautions and Steps Are Involved in Servicing the Clock Spring Assembly on Lincoln Navigator?

Put on wear safety glasses and do not use memory savers when changing the Clock Spring assembly. When the RCM fuse is disconnected the air bag warning lamp is normal. Make sure that the SRS is already working and then give back the vehicle. Correctly remove, inspect and install Clock Spring and other components.

How to Service and Repair the Clock Spring Assembly on Lincoln Town Car?

To service Clock Spring assembly, depower SRS, remove driver air bag, and make wheels straight. Note: Tape the Clock Spring to ensure rotation, strip shrouds, cut Clock Spring connector, and fit new connector where necessary. Restore parts and re-energise the SRS.
