How to service the fuel pressure regulator safely and effectively on Lincoln Navigator?

When servicing the fuel pressure regulator, be safe it is not advisable to have flames around fuel parts. De-pressurize fuel, and take off upper intake manifold. Unhose the vacuum and unscrew the regulator and snap ring, and dispose of old O-rings. Install new fuel-resistant O-rings, apply engine oil and reverse in the installation.
