How to Service the Air Filter Element on Lincoln Navigator?

The air cleaner element has retaining clips, to remove the tray release them and then take away the tray. Remove the element, but be sure the tray is completely in the housing to avoid engine noise. Install the element and tray by repeating the reverse of the steps performed to remove them to ensure they fit and work.

How to Service and Repair the Air Filter Element on Lincoln Town Car?

To maintain the air cleaner element, disconnection of the battery ground cable and MAF sensor connector. Unscrew the air cleaner lid security fasteners, and pop off the lid and the element. To install, make the reversal and take care to ensure that all hinge characteristics are used during reassembly.
