  • Q: How to service and repair the idler arm on Lincoln Town Car?
    A: In order to service the idler arm, elevate the vehicle and take off the castle nut and cotter pin. Disconnect the drag link and delete the idler arm and bracket. Fit the new idler arm sideways to the centerline, hold in place with bolts, and re-connect the drag link, and then lower the car.
