How to service and repair the power steering pump on Lincoln Navigator?

To maintain the power steering pump, the pulley is to be removed and the fluid in the reservoir emptied. Loosen hoses and lines and make sure to screw the connections to the required torque when re-attaching them. Unscrew the pump bolts, install back and use a Teflon pressure line seal installer. Lastly, fill up power steering system.

How to service and repair the power steering pump on Lincoln Town Car?

In order to maintain the power steering pump, one must take off the drive belt, elevate the vehicle and un-wire it. Removal of the pulley, hoses, and four bolts that hold together the pump. In case of a replacement, do away with the actuator. To install, do the opposite and look at any leakages after filling the system.
