How to service and repair the Steering Shaft on Lincoln Navigator?

In order to repair the steering column shaft, make sure the vehicle is in neutral and on a hoist. Do not rotate shaft when disconnecting. Unscrew and screw bolts at a given torque. Assemble in the same manner in reverse, except with new bolts in the steering column shaft.
