How to service and repair the control arm on Lincoln MKZ?

In order to fix the control arm, take out the wheel and tire, and hold up the trailing arm. Install lower bolt of shock absorber replacing and tightening according to AWD or FWD. Take out and fit new bolts on the upper arm, and make sure it is suspended properly. Lastly, re-fit parts and correct rear camber (where necessary).

How to service and repair the lower control arm on Lincoln MKZ?

Removal of spring, cam adjuster nut, cam adjuster, cam bolt, lower arm is necessary to service the lower control arm. Insert new components of the same part numbers, torque the adjuster nut on the cam to 101 Nm when the suspension was lifted to 395 mm and ensure the rear alignment was checked before it was tensioned completely. Reinstall in reverse order.
