Removal of windshield requires the removal of cowl panel, A-pillar trim and others. Use a Deluxe Windshield Removal Tool to cut the urethane adhesive with the support of the glass. To install, dry-fit the glass, wash the surfaces, apply the adhesive, and make sure that they cure. Install back all parts and look at vents.

How to reseal a windshield on Lincoln Town Car?

To re-seal the windshield, you will need to removal of the cowl panel grille, overhead console, weather strips, A-pillar trim panels, and sun visors. Clean the edges of the adhesive and put on a caulk gun with urethane adhesive. Let it dry an hour and replace all the parts taken off.
