How to Service and Repair a Coolant Temperature Sensor on Mercury Marauder?

In order to service the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, begin by emptying the cooling system. De-couple the electrical connector of the ECT sensor, and take off the sensor. To install it, repeat them back, put sealant on the sensor threads and then attach. And lastly fill and bleed the cooling system to complete the work.

How to Service and Repair a Coolant Temperature Sensor on Mercury Grand Marquis?

To maintain the engine temperature sensor, turn off the fire suppression system, and take out the intake manifold. Take off the CHT sensor which is not re-usable. Install a new sensor, and then follow the same steps of removal and repower the fire suppression system, when it was depowered.
