To service the CKP sensor, ensure the vehicle is in neutral on a hoist. Disconnect the battery ground, remove the A/C drive belt, and disconnect the A/C compressor field coil. Loosen, but do not remove, the compressor bolts to access the CKP sensor. Finally, reverse the procedure for installation.
