How to service the Differential Cover on Mercury Grand Marquis?

To service the differential housing cover, turn off the air suspension system, lift the vehicle and empty the lubricant. Wipe-clean surfaces, put sealant on and leave to dry. Install cover and bolts, lubricant and friction modifier, and re-activate the air suspension, and then lower the vehicle.
