To engage in servicing EGR valve tube, raise the vehicle and unconnect the tube to the EGR valve and exhaust manifold, and then tighten both connections to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) on reconnecting. Note, the length of the EGR tube in AWD vehicles is shorter than the length of the EGR tube in FWD vehicles. Uninstallation: To undo all previously done.

To maintain the EGR system module tube, loosen the top fitting and screw it with 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) when fitting. Next, unscrew the lower fitting and remove tube. Installation Reverse the process and screw the both fittings with 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
