It is necessary to set the gear selector at NEUTRAL before starting power seat switch repairs or maintenance. Start by removing the console trim ring after which open the center console door to get access to the 2 screws. The procedure starts with pulling on the console finish panel to free its retainers followed by disconnecting the power point electrical connector to pull out the panel. The process starts with pulling on the retainers until the instrument panel center lower right-hand and left-hand finish panels detach from their positions followed by the instrument panel center finish panel. Remove the safety belt retractor belt anchor nut cover from the cushion side shield, then take out the safety belt anchor nut, tightening it to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft) upon reinstallation.

Access the seat control switch and release the retainers to detach the switch from the side shield cover.

Reverse the removal procedure.

Release the retaining tabs to remove the switch.

Pull out on the switch bezel to separate it from the LH quarter trim panel.

Remove the scrivet and screws from the cushion side shield, pull out to release the clips, and disconnect the seat control switch by separating the wire harness pin-type retainer.

Install new retainers.

Pull out on the side of the cushion side shield to release the retaining clips and pin-type retainer.

Install new retainers if necessary.

Reverse the removal procedure.

Release the pin-type retainer of the seat control switch wire harness and remove the seat control switch from the side shield, disconnecting it in the process.

Installation is achieved by reversing the removal steps.

Remove the clip and recline handle, then take out the screw located at the rear of the cushion side shield.

Pull out and remove the power liftgate strut cover located in the quarter trim panel.

Reverse the removal procedure.

Disconnect the electrical connector, release the four tabs, and remove the memory set switch through the front of the door trim panel.

Always wear safety glasses to minimize the risk of injury from accidental air bag deployment.

Pull out to release the retainers and separate the instrument panel center lower right-hand and left-hand finish panels.

To minimize injury risk from accidental deployment, especially if the seat has an SRS component.

Disconnect the third row seat control switch(es) by releasing the retainers and removing the switch(es).

Lift up and separate the switch bezel from the interior door trim panel.
