    A: In order to replace the timing chain, loosen timing cover and camshaft position sensor drive gear. Retighten the crankshaft timing marks, clamp the tensioner and take out the sprockets and chain. Fit the tensioner and position the crankshaft in TDC and re-connect the sprockets and cover with appropriate positioning.
  • Q: How to service the camshaft on 2004 Ford Mustang?
    A: In order to service the camshaft, take the valve tappets, timing chain and wire harness away. Then remove the radiator fan, the engine balance shaft drive gear and the camshaft key. Unmount camshaft including bolts, thrust plate and spacer. Rub clean oil on the new camshaft and follow the other steps in reverse order.
