How to service the blower motor in the center console on 2000 Ford Expedition?

Service of the center console blower motor requires the removal of the floor console with its braces through eight screw detachment. Detach the blower motor duct through unscrewing it before extracting the blower motor assembly by removing three nuts and extracting the motor from the bottom of the console. Separate the harness connectors first followed by the removal of the blower motor resistor by disconnecting its connector then removing its bolts for extraction of the resistor. To begin you should unscrew the five screws that secure the blower motor lower duct cover then proceed by removing the upper duct cover by taking out its three bolts. You can remove the blower motor after disconnecting its connector and removing the two bolts while extracting the motor from the console. To install the assembly follow the opposite procedure of removal.
