Start by disconnecting the ignition coil electrical connector before removing the bolt that holds the ignition coil in position. After that, you must carefully twist then pull up to separate it from the rest of the components. The new ignition coil requires 6 Nm (53 lb-in) of torques during installation. Checking both the ignition coil spring positioning inside the ignition coil boot and the boot tip condition is necessary before proceeding. Before installing the new ignition coil apply dielectric compound on the inside of the boot surfaces according to the removal procedure in reverse order.
