How to Service and Repair a Vehicle Speed Sensor Like the Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor on Ford E-150?

To service the OSS sensor position the vehicle in neutral on a hoist. Unplug the sensor, brush off debris and take the securing bolt and sensor off. Oil the O-ring of the new sensor and then install it, screw the bolt up to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs) and reassemble electrical connector.
