How to service and repair the brake shoes on Ford Focus?

To service brake shoes, disengage the parking brake boot and make sure that rear brakes are cool. Unscrew the parking brake cable, dislodge the drum and unscrew hold-down clips. Disconnection of the shoes and parking brake cable should be done carefully and springs should be removed. Clean contact points, and then repeat the operation in reversed order to install.
