How to service the Duratec intake manifold on Ford Focus?

Service of Duratec intake manifold requires beginning with battery ground cable removal. First raise the vehicle before supporting it with stands. Afterward uninstall the lower retaining bolt from the intake manifold and finally lower the vehicle. Detach the fuel injection supply manifold followed by removing the air cleaner from the system. The IMRC actuator cable needs detachment from the lever while rotating the shaft for removal. Also disconnect the TP sensor electrical wiring component. Detach the IMRC actuator cable from the intake manifold assembly through the process of unlocking its locking talons. Detach the throttle body vacuum hoses then remove the brake booster pipe from the intake manifold through releasing the quick release coupling. Begin by disconnecting the two parts of the intake manifold and move on to unfasten the inner section retaining bolts and nuts before removing the inner section retaining stud. Complete the removal process by taking off both intake manifold sections. Follow the reverse steps of removal when installing this component.
