How to service the Mirror Actuator on Ford Mustang?

Service of the power mirror motor begins by removing the mirror glass from the exterior. Proceed by removing the three exterior mirror motor screws while securing them at 7 Nm (62 lb-in) when reinstalling. Take off the exterior mirror motor by first cutting the electrical connector from its connection to the motor then unfastening the unit. The completion of installation requires following the opposite procedure of removal.

How to service the power mirror actuator on Ford Ranger?

Service of the power mirror motor requires initial removal of exterior mirror glass. Disassemble the exterior mirror motor by removing its screws then placing it safely to the side. A complete exterior mirror motor removal requires disconnecting its electrical connectors. Follow the opposite order of steps previously used for the removal process to install. Installation of the exterior mirror motor starts with the driver side following the same procedure as the passenger side.
