How to service and repair the ignition switch on Ford Crown Victoria?

In order to service the ignition switch, switch off the SRS. To unlock the ignition switch cylinder, make the ignition switch cylinder position to RUN and push the release tab. Revoke the tilt lever, upper shroud and screws. Unlink the ignition switch, take it off and put it back in with screws being tightened to defined torque. Repower the SRS.

How to Address Issues with the Ignition Switch in a Ford Taurus?

In order to tune up the ignition switch, to turn off the SRS, to take off the steering column covers screws, and to take off the cover bolts. Unscrew the ignition switch connector, insert the switch screws but attach with a given torque. Last, reverse the process and re-power the SRS.
