How to service a cartridge type oil filter on Ford Escape?

In order to service the cartridge oil filter, one has to place the vehicle in neutral. Loose oil filter cover and drain plug to drain oil. Dispose of old parts, grease surfaces and lubricate new O-rings. Fit the new filter and cover, tightening to the required torque and ensure that you replace the drain plug.

How to service and repair the oil filter on Ford Fusion?

In order to service the oil filter, place the vehicle on a hoist in neutral. Take off oil filter access cover screws, loosen oil filter cover and drain the engine oil. Change the oil filter and seals, wipe the surfaces and install parts correctly with the correct torque to avoid leakages.
