In order to remove the flexplate, remove the transmission first. Removal of 6 bolts is done using the Flywheel Locking Tool. To install, do not include balance weights, and special bolts. Tighten the bolts in three steps: 50 Nm, 80 Nm and 112 Nm. Lastly, put the transmission back in.
