How Should the TPMS Sensor Be Serviced to Ensure Proper Installation and Functionality on Ford Edge?

When replacing the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor, the replacement sensor should be the same colour as the one being replaced, they do not go together. Take the tire off, unscrew the sensor and be sure that it clips into place when it is re-assembled. Turn on the new sensor by filling the tire up to the recommended pressure.

How to Service and Repair the TPMS Sensor on Ford Explorer?

Service in the Tire Pressure Sensor, install a new grommet, do not remove the valve stem core and take out the wheel assembly. Gas leakage. Reverse the installation procedure, inflate to the required pressure, and make sure that a new nickel-plated core is used. Separate the beads by using a tire machine and fit correctly.

A: When replacing the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor, the replacement sensor should be the same colour as the one being replaced, they do not go together. Take the tire off, unscrew the sensor and be sure that it clips into place when it is re-assembled. Turn on the new sensor by filling the tire up to the recommended pressure.
