Service of the oil pressure switch requires positioning a vehicle on a hoist with transmission set to neutral position. Disconnect the battery ground cable followed by removing the electrical connector from the oil pressure switch. The oil pressure switch must be removed while applying Teflon pipe sealant to the switch threads before installation. Finish the service by performing the steps in reverse order that were used for removal.
