How to Service the Oil Pressure Switch on Ford Focus?

To service the oil pressure switch, hoist the vehicle with the transmission in neutral. Disconnect the battery ground and the switch connector. Remove the switch, apply Thread Sealant with PTFE to the threads, and reinstall, tightening to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.) while reversing the removal steps.

How to Service the Oil Pressure Switch on Ford Ranger?

The oil pressure switch can be serviced by first removing the battery ground cable. Lift the vehicle and remove the wire connector in the switch. Unscrew, using Teflon Pipe sealant on threads, and replace. Lastly, undo the steps of removal to finish.
