Service of the Cruise Control Module (C-CM) starts by removing the rear seat followed by removing the C-CM push-pin using a suitable pry-tool before the electrical connector detachment. After removing the two C-CM nuts you must detach the C-CM and then ensure the new C-CM tightness meets 11 Nm (97 lb-in). The procedure for bracket installation requires removing both C-CM bracket nuts together with the bracket before tightening the new bracket to 11 Nm (97 lb-in). During the installation process reset all parameters of the C-CM because improper recognition between the C-CM and speed control sensor would result in an inoperative adaptive cruise control system. The C-CM calibration procedure can be accessed through the scan tool interface while following IDS operating guidelines. After completing the test run a success check and proceed with the instructions on-screen to activate the vehicle operation.
