- Q: How to Service the Air Filter Box on Lincoln Aviator?A: In order to service the air filter box, remove MAF connector, air bypass valve inlet tube, and crankcase vent tube off the outlet tube. Take out outlet tube retaining nut (re-tighten to 10 Nm/89 lb-in). Unscrew the clamp, unplug throttle body and remove assembly (up, then forward). Reinstall in reverse.
- Q: How to service the Air Filter Box on Lincoln LS?A: To service the air filter box, remove outlet pipe and MAF connector and loosen the securing bolt. Unscrew snap-on to reach the air filter element, when necessary. Re-installation: undo the procedure and make sure the air filter box cover and tray fit correctly. Tighten all bolts to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).
