To replace the windshield washer pump and reservoir, remove battery, reservoir bolt, and electrical connector of the pump. Work carefully with the methanol based washer solution. Before refilling, remove reservoir and pump, making sure that no electrical connections. Undo the steps of removal and install.

How to service the windshield washer pump and reservoir on Lincoln Navigator?

In order to maintain the windshield washer pump and windshield washer reservoir, unscrew electrical connections, and loosen the screws, then tighten them to 5 Nm when reattaching. The water must be collected, and the reservoir removed, by cutting off the hoses. If needed, remove the pump. Turn the process back to get back the washer concentrate back in the reservoir.
