Start by taking out the 7 retainers and left-hand splash shield while tightening the retainers to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) before reinstalling both parts. The OSS electrical connector must be disconnected first before removing the OSS sensor bolt and retrieving the OSS sensor. Attachment of the new sensor requires torque to 13 Nm (10 ft. lbs.) while applying clean transmission fluid for O-ring seal lubrication before inspecting the O-ring for damages; replace the O-ring if it shows indications of damage. Proceed with the reverse steps of the management procedure to finish the installation.
