How to service and repair the oil pan baffle on Ford Escape?

To service the oil pan baffle, remove the oil pump screen cover and tube, then the baffle's securing nuts. For installation, position the baffle, tighten the nuts to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.) and an additional 45 degrees, then reinstall the cover and tube.
