How to service the harmonic balancer and crankshaft pulley on Ford Escape?

Service the harmonic balancer and crankshaft pulley: elevate and lift the vehicle; strip the right front wheel/tire and bolts to the right-hand lower splash shield; loosen the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt; strip the accessory drive belt; strip the bolt and the pulley. Installation To be removed by reversing the removal procedure.

How to service the Harmonic Balancer on Ford Ranger?

Crankshaft pulley Service To service the crankshaft pulley, loosen the fan shroud first, then remove the drive belt. In order to avoid damage, use a three-bolt puller. Once the pulley is removed apply the washer on the bolt and reconnect the pulley, bolt and drive belt. Lastly, screw the bolt and put the fan shroud back.
