How to service and repair the windshield washer pump on Ford Ranger?

In order to fix the windshield washer pump, unhook the hose to the washer and empty the reservoir. Unscrew the reservoir by removing the coolant overflow hose, electrical connector and the washer pump. To re-install, follow steps back in reverse and washers should be treated with caution as it contains poisonous methanol.
