How to service the windshield washer pump on Ford Ranger?

Before servicing the windshield washer pump users must disconnect the hose from the pump then drain the washer reservoir to stop fluid leaks. Discharge the coolant overflow hose from the engine coolant overflow reservoir before plugging its outlet port. First disconnect the electrical connection from the windshield washer reservoir pump before setting aside the air filter housing unit. Detach the windshield washer reservoir by removing its two screws and two nuts before extracting the washer pump from the reservoir without damaging the rubber grommet. Proceed with installation by following the opposite steps of removal while understanding that the washer reservoir and pump service separately.
