How to Service the Yaw Sensor in the Stability Control Sensor Cluster on Ford Expedition?

In order to service the yaw rate sensor of the stability control sensor cluster, one has to remove the front floor console, disconnect the electrical connector, and unbolt the cluster. Installation Once installed, tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs. ), doing the reverse process to remove.

Removing the scuff plate trim panel and the carpet will help remove the yaw rate sensor to service it. Next, un-attach the sensor bracket and un-connect the sensor electrical connectors of yaw rate and lateral acceleration sensor. Then, take out the sensor of the yaw rate. To install, all you have to do is reverse the steps of removal.
