How to remove and replace the front parking brake cable on Ford Ranger?

In order to change the front parking brake cable, release the parking brake. Note: To replace the LH splash shield, fender remove the splash shield, disconnect cable on the intermediate cable, and disconnect cable on splash shield frame bracket and control. Re-Installation will involve the reversal of these steps so that the spool loop is correctly routed.
