How to service the thermostat on Lincoln Town Car?

In order to service the thermostat, drain the cooling system. Tighten the bolts of the coolant outlet adapter by hand and then screw them firmly. Unclip the adapter and hose, and tighten bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) when re-installing. Install the O-ring seal, thermostat, clean surfaces and invert the steps of removal to complete.
