In order to repair the front sway bar link, make sure the vehicle is in neutral on a hoist. Use a new part number identical. Keep the ball stud; remove upper nut and tighten to 40 Nm. Repeat the same with lower nut, tightening to 42 Nm and reverse to install.

How to service and repair the front sway bar link on Lincoln Navigator?

To service the front sway bar and link, hoist the vehicle in neutral. Remove and discard the upper and lower nuts of the sway bar link, tightening new ones to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft). Remove the sway bar bracket nuts, tightening to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft) upon reinstallation. Inspect and replace bushings as needed.
