How to service and repair the Wiper Linkage on Ford Escape?

To service and repair the wiper motor linkage, start by removing the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft. Dislodge the windshield wiper motor first to work out the parts effectively.

How to service the Wiper Linkage on Ford Taurus?

To do wiper motor linkage service, park wiper pivot arms at the highest position on the glass, and disconnect the battery ground cable. Then, take out the wiper pivot arm nut covers, then take out the nuts and wiper pivot arms. Next, remove cowl top vent panels and then remove the four bolts that attach the wiper mounting arm and wiper pivot shaft assembly (including the electrical connector). To install, simply go in the opposite direction of removal and tweak the wiper pivot arms as needed.
