How to Service and Repair the Idle Control Valve on Ford Ranger?

In order to service/ repair the Idle Control Valve, unplug the electrical connector of the valve by disconnecting the battery ground cable, and then the electrical connector of the valve. Take out securing bolts and valve including gasket, and dispose of old gasket. When it needs to be reinstalled, follow the process in reverse and make sure a new gasket is installed to the Idle Control Valve.
