How to Service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on Ford Ranger?

Service of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor begins with disconnecting the battery ground cable and then proceeding to remove the MAF sensor electrical connector and the air intake tube from the MAF sensor. The MAF sensor requires removal after you disconnect its four mounting bolts. You should follow the reversal of removal steps to install the MAF sensor.
