How to Address Issues with the Steering Angle Sensor in a Ford Crown Victoria?

In order to repair the Steering Angle Sensor, unscrew the sound panel, finish panel, knee bolster and bracket first. Pop the sensor off by unscrewing the wiring and pulling out the sensor. To install, the steps are to be reversed to place the sensor and assemble the parts again.

How to service and repair the Steering Angle Sensor Module (SASM) on Ford Edge?

In order to fix the Steering Angle Sensor Module (SASM), detach the Clock Spring and SASM bolts, electrical connector, and SASM. Connect and turn the sensor straight with the front wheels and set sensor in line with transmitter. Install Clock Spring, tighten bolts and if required clear DTCs.
