How to service the Crankshaft Position Sensor on Ford Mustang?

The first step for servicing the Crankshaft Position Sensor requires battery ground cable removal. Begin service of the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor by disconnecting the connector then removing its securing bolts. The installation steps should reverse the steps used during removal.

How to Service the Crankshaft Position Sensor on Ford Ranger?

Service of the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor begins by placing the vehicle in neutral position and hanging it on a hoist. Unplug the electrical connector of the CKP sensor then remove its two securing bolts. To install the new sensor users must fasten its bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) torque setting before reversing the removal steps to finish installation.
